Thanks for visiting the website for the
Utah Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society of
North America.
The IESNA and the approximately 90 members
from the Utah Section are a nonprofit organization that
is dedicated "to advance knowledge
and disseminate information for the improvement of the
lighted environment to the benefit of society".
Our membership is
made up of lighting professionals from every segment of
the industry. We strive to provide through our monthly
meetings and our educational programs, a valuable addition
to the quality of the projects we work on by using accepted
lighting standards while being sensitive to the Architecture
and to the inhabitants of those projects.
Please browse through
our website and take a look at the quality and diversity
of our guest speakers and the subjects that they cover.
In addition to those monthly meetings, we offer some excellent
educational opportunities for learning experiences.
Many of our meetings and educational programs will qualify
for continuing education credits from your professional
organizations.
Please feel free
to e-mail us suggested topics for meetings or activities
by visiting our officers, board, or committees tab on
the right.
Together, we can
enhance the overall visual quality of our projects both
from performance and aesthetics.
